Dr. Rym C. Partridge and Family

Dr. Partridge and his relatives have been artistically inclined outside of Dentistry.

His grandmother was Imogen Cunningham, a famous photographer in the group

with Ansel Adams and Brett Weston. His grandfather, Roi Partridge, was a famous

etcher and headed the Mills College Art Department. His uncle, Rondal Partridge is

also one of the most well known and respected photographers in the world.

His mother Janet was an art historian and museum docent, his father Gryffyd

Partridge was an accomplished artchitect. Dr. Partridge has always had special

artistic talent in drawing, design and of course, the esthetics of a fantastic smile.

He hopes the legacy of happy smiling patients he has treated may put him on an

equal footing with the other exceptional artists in the Partridge-Cunningham families.

Dr. Partridge is a very committed waterman and land athelete. He has surfed large

surf in Hawaii, Waimea, Sunset, Todos Santos Island, and paddled across Monterey Bay

for fun. He has placed third nationally and 1st in the state in amateur shortboard compe-

tition and taken first place twice in longboard competition at the annual Memorial

Day Longboard contest in Santa Cruz. His two daughters, Hailey and Sierra surf

together several days a week out at the lighthouse and are now sponsored and

compete in many state and local contests.
